Belongings
Golden fields, blue skies still,
Rivers run when forests weep.
All that breathes, all that sleeps,
Is not of mine, nor for keeps.
The fur coat and the fancy hat,
I leave aside for thieves and such.
The finer things I held in hand
I throw up in the air tonight.
Rivers run when forests weep.
All that breathes, all that sleeps,
Is not of mine, nor for keeps.
The fur coat and the fancy hat,
I leave aside for thieves and such.
The finer things I held in hand
I throw up in the air tonight.

As i lift my arms
Towards the heavens
I but feel my heart's last tug
To hold onto that which was never mine.
:)
What is that you say?
A thief that stole by night and slept all day,
Stole the princess twinkle and had to pay,
A mighty price and a beating from the Giffy Ray!
